Role Overview

Splan is seeking a Business Analyst – RFP & Solution Consulting to support enterprise sales by translating customer requirements into compelling, high-quality proposals and solution designs.

This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Product, and Engineering, playing a critical part in winning new business through RFP/RFI responses, solution articulation, and customer-facing engagements.


Key Responsibilities

RFP / RFI Management
  • Lead end-to-end responses for RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and security questionnaires

  • Analyze customer requirements and align them with Splan’s capabilities

  • Create high-quality, tailored responses, ensuring consistency and differentiation

  • Maintain and continuously improve the RFP knowledge base and content library


Solution Consulting & Pre-Sales Support
  • Work closely with Sales and Solutions teams to design customer-centric solutions

  • Translate business and technical requirements into clear solution architectures

  • Support demos, presentations, and customer workshops

  • Articulate Splan’s value proposition in PIAM, security convergence, and AI-driven automation


Requirements Analysis & Documentation
  • Gather and document business, functional, and technical requirements

  • Create solution documents, workflows, and use case mappings

  • Bridge the gap between customer needs and product capabilities


Partner & Ecosystem Alignment
  • Support joint solutions with partners such as SailPoint, Saviynt, Okta, and Microsoft

  • Collaborate with GSIs like Accenture and Deloitte for large enterprise bids


Competitive Positioning
  • Develop response strategies to differentiate Splan against competitors

  • Support creation of battlecards, win themes, and proposal narratives

  • Contribute to continuous improvement based on win/loss analysis


Qualifications

Experience
  • 3–8 years in Business Analysis, Pre-Sales, Solution Consulting, or RFP Management in enterprise SaaS, cybersecurity, or IAM

  • Strong experience responding to complex enterprise RFPs

  • Exposure to Identity & Access Management (IAM), IGA, or security platforms


Skills
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills (critical for RFP success)

  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Engineering


Preferred
  • Experience in PIAM, PACS, or physical security systems

  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO, NIST, etc.)

  • Experience with proposal tools and content management systems


Success Metrics
  • RFP win rate and turnaround time

  • Quality and consistency of proposal responses

  • Contribution to pipeline conversion and deal closures

  • Customer and sales team feedback

  • Reusability and scalability of RFP content
